At Last, Affordable SAF
Syzygy converts waste biogas into affordable, low-carbon aviation fuel using proprietary GHG e-Reforming™ technology — dual RFNBO and Advanced BioSAF certified.Today's SAF from yesterday's wasted gas. Syzygy converts waste biogas and renewable electricity into affordable, low-carbon aviation fuel using our proprietary GHG e-Reforming™ process. Our pathway has been independently assessed as eligible for both RFNBO and Advanced BioSAF certification — the only SAF platform to achieve dual evaluation — at a cost that beats every competing pathway.

NovaSAF™ Projects
A New Path to Sustainable Aviation Fuel
Existing SAF pathways are constrained. HEFA is bumping into feedstock ceilings. Power-to-Liquids is capex-prohibitive. Alcohol-to-Jet faces food-versus-fuel and carbon intensity hurdles. Gasification carries technical and capex risk at scale.
Syzygy's biogas-to-SAF pathway (NovaSAF™) sidesteps all four constraints. By combining proprietary photocatalysis with renewable electricity and abundant waste-derived feedstocks, we deliver low-cost, low-CI fuel. NovaSAF is designed from day one for creating a truly sustainable pathway to SAF.
Electrified Chemistry
Light replaces combustion. Our Rigel™ reactor uses photonic energy to drive reforming reactions, eliminating process emissions and unlocking new economics.
Abundant Waste Feedstocks
Biogas from landfills, dairy operations, and agricultural waste streams. ~1 trillion m³ of biogas could be produced sustainably each year; less than 5% is utilized today.
Built for Deployment
Modular cell-stack architecture lets us deploy at small and medium-scale sources where competing technologies cannot operate economically. A cluster model aggregates stranded biogas assets into commercial-scale fuel volumes.
Policy-Aligned by Design
Pre-assessed for ISCC EU RFNBO and Advanced Biofuels eligibility. Eligible under UK SAF Mandate. CORSIA-aligned with a ~80% CI reduction versus Jet-A. Formal ISCC audit and certification completes upon NovaSAF 1 commissioning.
The Problem Isn't Demand.
It's Supply.
Airlines, governments, and corporate buyers are aligned on SAF.
Demand is hardening.
EU and UK mandates create approximately 1.5 billion gallons per year of obligated demand by 2030
Voluntary corporate commitments from Amazon, Microsoft, United, Air France-KLM, Delta, and IAG
US 45Z clean fuel production credit (now $1.00/gal, with biogas-derived fuels favored)
What's missing is deployable, affordable supply. NovaSAF™ closes that gap.

Why Biogas Is the Logical Next Pathway
The energy trilemma — security, price, sustainability — points to one answer: gas-to-liquids via biogas.
